Special Olympics Northern California uses the power of sports to jumpstart change and spark joy, uniting people with and without intellectual disabilities to create a more connected community. Special Olympics NorCal transforms athletes into leaders and promotes acceptance, unity, and respect. Spanning 40+ counties, our initiatives empower athletes, students, volunteers, coaches and fans to challenge societal barriers and foster opportunities for everyone to shine.  Special Olympics NorCal extends well beyond sports to offer year-round health and wellness, schools, and leadership programs – all at no cost to athletes or their families.
